Server listing guidelines
The list is only useful if every entry is real, in the US, and honest about what it is. These are the rules staff review against.
What can be listed
- Counter-Strike 2 servers that are physically hosted in the United States. We check the IP address location automatically.
- Servers you run or administer. You prove this by putting a short code in the server's hostname during setup.
- Servers that are online regularly. A server that stays offline for a full day is hidden until it comes back.
What gets rejected or removed
- Listings whose name, description, or links misrepresent the server (wrong mode, fake player counts, padding with bots to look full).
- Gambling, skin-betting, or "free skins" promotions, and links to anything malicious.
- Hate, harassment, or adult content in the server name or description.
- The same server listed more than once under different names.
How verification works
- Sign in with your forum account and add your server's IP and port.
- We query the server to confirm it is running CS2 and is located in the US.
- We give you a short code. Add it anywhere in your server's hostname, for example with
hostname "My Server csus-1a2b3c"in the console or your config. - Press Check now. Once we see the code, you can change the hostname back.
- Staff review the listing, usually within a day or two.
If you edit your listing's name, description, or links later, it goes back to staff for a quick look before it reappears.
